INFO

My work is the product of being aware of our limited life span and that art is one of the few things that fill the void of existence. They are about the problems and beauty in the world that most people have witnessed and can identify with seeing; the social issues of our times, and the small pleasures. They are snapshots of everyday life, the horrific and the quotidian. The themes of my work revolve around the recognition of things around me, which are in my control, and those which are not; above all, the theme of the reverence of nature.
I am a self-taught artist with a degree in pre-Columbian art history and archeology. My primary medium is drawing but also I create paintings, sculpture, wood carving, printmaking and ceramics to convey my ideas.
